The globally recognized Barbadian singer and entrepreneur, Rihanna, has revealed her excitement to introduce her revolutionary beauty brands, Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Fenty Eau De Parfum, to the Caribbean community, especially her homeland Barbados. The brands will be launched later this month, marking a significant expansion of Rihanna’s beauty empire.
“Barbados, here we come!” said the mogul. Rihanna described the process of bringing Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin to the Caribbean as beyond thrilling, emphasizing the exceptional joy in bringing her brands to the place and people that inspired their inception.
Coming October 24, Caribbean islands including Barbados, Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Grenada, Sint Maarten/Saint Martin, and Trinidad & Tobago, will all be able to share in Rihanna’s vision of ‘beauty for all.’ The globally popular beauty brands have successfully brought forward boundary-breaking beauty standards since their launch in 2017.
Rihanna’s beauty breakthrough was also guided by a vision of creating inclusive and globally attractive products that represent diverse beauty. She aimed to make everyone feel beautiful and seen, no matter their race, ethnicity, culture, or personal style. The beauty mogul has undoubtedly achieved this with her wide range of products designed to match an extensive array of skin tones, making high-performance formulas for all skin types accessible.
Apart from the vast lineup on foundations and concealer shades, Fenty Beauty is renowned for its iconic products like the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation and Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer that will now be available to the Caribbean community.
In addition to Fenty Beauty, the makeup line is partnered with Fenty Skin, an eco-friendly skincare line that is compatible with makeup. Fenty Skin holds to Rihanna’s unfaltering mission to offer effective beauty solutions for everyone. The brand features formulas that effectively cleanse, hydrate, protect, and treat the skin. The skincare products integrate mainstream skin care compounds like niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, enhancing them with the finest Caribbean ingredients such as Barbados’ Cherry and Kalahari Melon. The beauty brand is true to its roots, reflecting a sincere tribute to Rihanna’s hometown.
The launch also showcases the Fenty Eau de Parfum, a sensuous warm floral fragrance that encapsulates Rihanna’s true essence. The spicy undertone of musk, mixed with the sweet notes of magnolia, tangerine, and Bulgarian rose makes it a unique fragrance.
The unveiling of Fenty brands in the Caribbean will be further celebrated with a beauty raffle hosted by Fenty Beauty and Bridgetown Duty Free. The exclusive event will invite customers to participate for the opportunity to experience the official launch in Barbados, with immersive brand experiences and Fenty Beauty swag bags. The event itinerary also includes a series of beauty talks and master artistry classes with Priscilla Ono, Rihanna’s personal makeup artist and Global Makeup Artist for Fenty Beauty.
Fenty Beauty, during its launch, is also focused on extending support to the Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF), an organization profoundly connected to the Caribbean and founded by Rihanna in 2012 to honor her grandparents, Clara and Lionel Braithwaite. The mission is to build thriving and resilient communities. Fenty is contributing additional support to CLF’s programming in Barbados, investing in important areas such as education, job training, culture, and climate resiliency initiatives.
