Lending their support, Catherine David, Director of Collaboration at WRAP, stated extending the life of clothing by nine months can reduce associated carbon, waste, and water footprints by an impressive 30%, thus underlining the importance of this initiative. By enabling people to wear their clothes for a longer period, the framework will heavily influence the environmental footprint of the clothing sector. She also expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with Primark, particularly in exploring approaches in convincing customers to keep their clothes in use for an extended period of time.
