The much-anticipated Korea Travel Fiesta 2024 was recently announced by Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) India. The KTO, which operates under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of South Korea, has revealed that this réjouissance will be delighting Indian consumers on October 19 and 20, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at DLF Avenue, Saket, New Delhi.

The Korea Festival was first launched in 2017 and has become an annual event that attracts an increasing number of visitors every year. Infused with the K-Wave spirit and showcasing a multifaceted platform for cultural interaction and festivity, the Korea Travel Fiesta 2024 is set to yield an enchanting voyage into South Korea’s splendors to Indian audiences.

Beyond the cultural celebrations, the Korea Tourism Roadshow 2024 will offer substantial networking opportunities for its business associates on October 18 in a B2B event at Delhi’s Yashobhoomi Convention Centre. The KTO will hold a Travel Mart from 3 PM to 7 PM featuring a delegation from Korea, including more than 10 destination management companies and airline partners. This venture serves as an apt stage for Indian travel agents to interact with the participants from Korea, promoting tourism and fostering business ties while exploring South Korea’s travel destination amenities and services.

The KTO’s Regional Director for India & SAARC Countries, Myong Kil Yun, conveyed his excitement for the event, which he sees as much more than just a fiesta. He highlighted how the robust interest from Indian travelers and the strong connection between India and Korea were evidenced by the over 119,000 Indian visitors welcomed to South Korea as of August 2024. He expressed his optimism about the enhanced business ties and diverse travel experiences that the Korea Tourism Roadshow 2024 would present.

Anand Kumar, the renowned mathematician and Padma Shri Awardee of ‘Super 30’ fame, and actor Anushka Sen, esteemed ambassadors of Korea Tourism, will be part of the inaugural ceremony on October 19, lending additional allure to the event. The attendees will get a chance to participate in the K-Lucky draw and win appealing prizes, including Samsung gadgets and a round-trip flight ticket to Korea.

The 2-day event promises an array of enthralling elements for visitors. Attendees can look forward to riveting K-Pop performances by the One Way Crew and a unique comic martial arts act, Jump. Korean beauty brands Jenny House and Amore Pacific will host makeup sessions, showcasing the latest trends and products. Interactive sections will allow participants to recreate their favorite scenes via themed photo booths from popular K-Dramas.

Moreover, the event will feature a K-Culture Zone, allowing visitors to experience traditional Korean activities such as Hangul calligraphy and creative tattoo artistry. The K-Food Zone will serve a variety of delectable dishes from the Korean cuisine’s rich and diverse flavors, catering to the food lovers.

Finally, the Stamp Rally Adventure will provide an exciting pursuit for visitors to collect stamps from every Korea experience booth. Upon visiting each travel zone and completing the rally, participants will be rewarded with attractive K-merchandise.

Thus, the Korea Travel Fiesta 2024 aims to strengthen the affinity towards Korea and inspire more Indian travelers to experience the wonders of South Korea.
