Dollar Tree, a renowned one-stop-shop for all things beauty, has recently launched six new beauty items, sold at just $1.25 each. Makeup expert Alexis Simone has shared her views on these products. Whether it’s makeup brushes or different eyeliner colors, the discount retailer has something for everyone. The recent boost in fall makeup trends on social media has encouraged Dollar Tree beauty brands to enhance their product lines.
Beauty Intuition, one of the brands featured in Dollar Tree’s collection, recently launched two new lipstick shades: Sweet Berry, described as a “sangria red wine color,” and Creamy Coco, a “warm-toned brown” shade. Simone noted that these shades ideally suit the fall season. She appreciated the significant quantity of product available despite the low price. As a bonus, the lipsticks feature a matte finish without causing dehydration.
However, there are a few downsides to these lipsticks, as per Simone. The applicator makes it tricky to reach the corners, suggesting the need for a lip liner. Also, the name of the brand and shade number aren’t listed on the lipstick itself, giving customers a challenge when it’s time for a repurchase.
The next pick is L.A. Colors 7-Piece Eyebrow Collection. This collection includes a dual-sided brow brush, brow powder, brow soap, brow wax, and three skinny brow pencils. Simone had positive feelings about this product, praising its presentation. Much to her delight, each product came labeled with the brand name, product name, and shade name.
Another beauty item to consider is the Glow-Up Highlighter wands from B.Pure. Similar to the products by elf and Charlotte Tilbury, these beautifying tools come in Bronze and Sparkly Rose shades, enriched with vitamin E and hyaluronic acid for hydration. Simone was particularly impressed that these highlighters didn’t disturb her foundation, eventually giving them her seal of approval.
Following this, we have Glow-Up Blush wands from B.Pure. Enriched with vitamin E and hyaluronic acid, these blush wands come in Rose Gold and Ballerina. Simone described Rose Gold as being more pigmented and Ballerina as resembling a “baby pink blush.” However, she warned that the lighter Ballerina shade might not work for all skin tones due to its light color. Despite this, she expressed great affection for the blushes.
B.Pure also offers Glow-Up Contour wands which come in Fair Medium and Medium Dark shades. Simone, however, discovered that both shades seemed quite similar when applied and couldn’t identify a significant difference. Nevertheless, she enjoyed the contour wand in general, despite acknowledging that the outcome may differ depending on skin tone.
Lastly, Le Mercerie launched a new lip gloss collection featuring eight new shades in a variety of pink hues, from neon pink to nude pink. The glosses promise rich, non-sticky formula with full coverage. However, Simone expressed concern about the lack of shade names, posing a problem when customers would want to reorder their preferred shade. Despite the packaging issue, Simone loved the lipsticks, highlighting that they only require one or two applications to create a rich look.
In conclusion, this new collection at Dollar Tree caters to everyone’s budget-friendly beauty requirements with a variety of exciting and impressive products.
